Youngstown Grit was founded in 2025 with one simple goal: create quality, affordable soaps and candles for people who actually work for a living. Inspired by the phrase “Youngstown grit, American spirit,” our products reflect the toughness, pride, and resilience of the Mahoning Valley.
We were tired of overpriced, low-effort “artisan” goods, so we set out to make products that are honest, effective, and built to do their job — especially soaps tough enough for contractors, laborers, and hard-working locals. No hype. No shortcuts. Just real products for real people.
